Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Our client, a premier Rocky Mountain-based law firm, is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate to join its highly regarded Denver office. This opportunity offers exposure to complex, high-value real estate transactions involving developers, investors, lenders, operators, and other sophisticated stakeholders across a broad range of asset classes.

The position is ideal for an attorney looking to accelerate their transactional practice through meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and participation in some of the region's most significant real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a variety of commercial real estate transactions
  • Support acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties
  • Assist with debt and equity financing transactions
  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and ancillary agreements
  • Structure and negotiate joint venture arrangements
  • Participate in development, redevelopment, and mixed-use projects
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, developers, and investors on sophisticated transactional matters

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Acquisition and disposition transactions
    • Commercial leasing
    • Development and redevelopment projects
    • Real estate finance
    • Joint ventures and investment structures
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage significant portions of complex transactions
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-relations skills
  • J.D. required
  • Active Colorado bar admission required

Ideal Background

The strongest candidates will have experience representing commercial developers, lenders, investors, private equity sponsors, REITs, or other institutional real estate participants. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking on increasing levels of responsibility with sophisticated clients and transactions.

  • Competitive base salary: $240,000-$280,000, commensurate with experience
